Original Item: Only One available. We have had several examples of both the “Formal” and “Informal” pattern “AH” silverware, which were specifically made for the residences of Adolf. As one might expect, there were also cloth items to go along with the silver, flatware, and serving pieces, and these were also divided into the “Formal” and “Informal” patterns.
This is a very nice “informal” pattern linen napkin, which is in very good condition and measures the correct 12″ x 12″. It is beige, the correct color for the linen napkins, and has the correct wide border around the edge, which is actually doubled over linen woven into the edge. Definitely some top quality textile work, as expected for any pieces intended for use by “Der Führer”.
As with all “AH” items, it displays an embroidered closed-winged Party eagle with swas, and has the Führer’s monogram, “A” and “H” positioned to the left and right respectively on each side of the wreath. On the rear of the napkin there also looks to be an ink stamped “360” or other number, but we do not know what the significance of this is.
Condition is very good, with just a bit of wear. There is a small hole next to the AH monogram on the left side.
These are extremely rare, and this the Adolf AH napkin that we have ever had. Ready to display!
