This BeVo embroidered example is the type used on both field caps and uniforms used by the German Heer (army) during the Africa Campaigns, a force known as the Deutsche Afrikakorps (DAK). It is in very nice condition, and actually had the stitching cut to remove it from the uniform or cap. Some of the original backing can still be seen, as it was folded under the eagle when it was installed, which would help prevent it from unraveling.
