Original Item: Only One available. This is an excellent condition Flak Artillery Luftwaffe NCO/EM Visor Cap, which has a wonderful Flak Regiment marking under the sweatband along with a 1936 date. The interior is still clearly marked on the celluloid “diamond” on the crown of the cap:
CARL HALFAR
UNIFORM-MÜTZENFABRIK
BERLIN NW 21
Quitzowstr. 27-29

This is a wonderful honest example with a fantastic shape. It still has the original crown stiffener installed, so it retains it’s original round appearance, without the “sag” usually seen. This 1936 dated NCO Schirmmütze Visor Cap is an original high quality manufactured cap. It is fabricated in Luftwaffe grey blue wool, with wide black wool cap band, plus three rows of deep red (tiefrot) color piping around the circumference. This is the Luftwaffe Waffenfarbe (corps color) for Anti-aircraft troops and other Artillery.
The peaked visor cap retains a very nice aluminum pin Luftwaffe droop-tail eagle with swas, as well as centrally mounted aluminum oak leaves with tri-color cockade. The black patent leather chin strap and buttons are still present and in very good condition. The visor is the classic black color with stitched edge trim, made of pressed vulcanfibre.
The body with its dark piping is in very good condition, aside from a few moth nips. The size 58 liner has a tan oilcloth interior, complete with the original moisture shield. The sweatband is very nice leather, though it does show wear and staining. Underneath the band is an ink stamped regimental marking, which unfortunately cannot be fully read. What we can read is: Flak Wei / E – Batt II. It also has the name Wittig on a piece of card stock in the celluloid diamond.
This is a great Luftwaffe Flak Artillery Reg’t Marked EM/NCO peaked visor cap, offered in very good used condition. Ready to display!
