Original Item. Only One Available. Purchased together with a WW1 Collection from Belgium and imported to New Jersey. Apparently this is a classic design Germany Trench lamp from the WW1 period made of sheet steel in a lighthouse shape. One of the four glass panels is now absent but the burner and wick are all intact and this may even function today as it did 100 years ago. The height adjustment for the wick is definitely still functional
No visible markings, the entire tower is hinged so it is easy to refill the oil tank. Comes complete with its stout wire carry or hanging handle, which is a bit misshapen. The lamp is about 6 inches wide at the base, and stands just over 10 inches tall.
Ready to use after cleaning or display.
