Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very neat, well made three draw Officer’s trench telescope, measuring 33 1/2″ when fully extended and collapsing to 11″ when closed. The sliding brass sun shade bears a large 199 deeply engraved into it, no doubt the Unit the Officer commanded. They display typical German engineering, as each draw even has a vent to let out the air, for smoother closing. These are definitely of exceptional original quality, with brass construction, and a German Silver rotating cover for the eye piece lens.
The eyepiece draw is marked with serial number 20628, and the strength and makers information:

The center of the telescope clad in black knurled leather.
German WW1 telescopes are not often seen, especially examples this nice and ready to display.
