Original Item: Only One Available. During the mid 1930s the Germans developed the famous MG 34 Machine Gun. The earliest ones, pre-WW2, were made to the highest peacetime standards which included a completely milled steel top cover assembly.
These did not last long, as the manufacturing cost was prohibitive and soon the “stamped” top cover was introduced. Here we offer a milled top cover with clear waffen amt and BSW manufacturing markings for the Berlin Suhler-Werke factory. Different in style to the stamped covers these are unmistakable and exceptionally rare. An opportunity for one of these does not come along very often.
Still in wonderful condition with the original four digit serial number 3056 intact with no alterations or cross outs and much of the original blue/black finish remaining.
