Original Items: Only One Available. This is an outstanding black leather deck jacket in a variant pattern as worn by hiher ranked Kriegsmarine personnel. The jacket, of heavy black leather with a five-button front furnished with black bakelite buttons.
It is 3/4 length has a lay flat up collar and adjustment flap on each sleeve having the same buttons. It has the typical lower flapped hip pockets and two lower breast slash pockets. The interior is fully lined with heavy dark blue wool. Cotton tag present on interior neck but the markings are clearly spurious (fake).
A nice jacket as associated with U-boat captains and officers offered in very good condition, based on the style it dates from approximately 1940.
