Original Item: Only One Available. This came to us from a Collection that was put together in the 1950’s and 1960’s and remained in storage ever since. In approximately .38 Caliber, this is a double barrel pistol with exposed hammers to fire centerfire cartridges. It is fully engraved around the action with floral motifs, and heavily Nickel plated, just like the day it left the factory. The style indicates manufacture probably in France or possibly Belgium. The style is typical of the 1870s in the European continental market.
The 4 3/8 inch barrels do show rifling, but also a good amount of corrosion. Overall length is about 9 1/2 inches. The action works nicely, though the right firing pin is broken. The two triggers are staggered to make firing easier. The wood grips look to be walnut, and are very nicely checkered.
This fine ANTIQUE pistol, intended for personal protection, is ready to display.
