Original Item: Only One Available. This is an exceptionally rare BATF approved inert Czech WWII Inert RG-34 Hand Grenade – OUG vz34. This grenade was the first “Impact Fuse” design fielded by any country, and is aptly nicknamed “The mother of all impact types”. The basic design and fuse type were copied throughout europe.
The device is no longer able to be used as a destructive device and is not available for export.
The design of the fuse was such that when thrown, the safety band would unwind, freeing the striker. On impact, the striker would penetrate the primer no matter what side it fell on, definitely a great design. After Germany occupied Czechoslovakia during WII, they continued to produce this grenade for the German military.
Our example is totally inert, and unscrews to show the internal fuse structure. It still has almost all of the original paint, and has no markings on the top.
