Original Item: WW2 manufactured Canadian belt frog attachment for carrying the wood holster stock for the Browning pattern 1935 Hi-Power Pistol. Extremely scarce, these are in un-issued NOS (New Old Stock) condition and are marked with the Canadian large WW2 C with Broad Arrow stamp.
Also bearing manufacturer stamp Z.L.& T. Ltd. This stiff web belt fitting has a spring-loaded clip that fastens to the metal holster fitting near the wood holster hinge so it can be suspended from the standard equipment waist belt. See pages 16/17 in “WEAPONS OF THE WW2 TOMMY” by David B. Gordon.
