Original Item: P-1937 un-blancoed webbing sets consisting of web waist belt with buckle and fittings, a pair of web utility chest pouches for carrying ammunition along with a pair of web over-the-shoulder cross straps.
These pieces represent the basic set issued to all British Infantrymen in WW2 and thereafter onto which can be added a host of other accessories such as wire cutter carrier, bayonet frog, binocular case and water bottle. In issued very good condition these will show some maker markings of sorts, some WW2 dates, infantrymen names and/or serial numbers with plenty of defacement of markings as items were re-issued to other soldiers.
Shades of Webbing vary, as originally issued, and colors will not match among pieces. Once plentiful on the market these sets are getting very hard to find today.
Most components show POST WAR DATES.
