Original Item: Only one available. The No.2 Mk.5 signal pistol closely follows the configuration of the No.1 Mk.5, except that instead of the long barrel with a belled muzzle, it has a short barrel with a stud for latching to a through-armor fitting in many British WWII AFVs (armored fighting vehicles). There are numerous markings on the frame, two sets of British proof marks and a number K1326.
This example is in very good condition, with very nice black bakelite grips with an intact lanyard ring. It has a lovely blued finish, with only light wear. It does not look to have been refinished. The side of the barrel is stamped with serial number 042609 along with proof markings. The pistol appears to be fully functional, with no mechanical issues. Ready to display!
NOTE: This version of flare pistol was not designed with an automatic extractor.
