Original Item: Only one available. The No.2 Mk.5 signal pistol closely follows the configuration of the No.1 Mk.5, except that instead of the long barrel with a belled muzzle, it has a short barrel with a stud for latching to a through-armor fitting in many British WWII AFVs (armored fighting vehicles).
This example is in good condition, with very nice plastic/bakelite grips, intact lanyard ring, and most of the original finish intact. The side of the barrel is stamped with PDR 056 as well as the frame, and there are proof marks on various parts of the pistol. There is no conventional serial number we can find but 056 was also painted on the grip in white. Pistol appears to be fully functional, with no mechanical issues. Does show age and pitting.
This example comes ready for further research and display!
