Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice Original British WORLD WAR TWO era Royal Navy White Ensign (flag), a type of flag used exclusively by the Royal Navy. It has a large cross of St. George in the “field” of the flag, with a British Union Jack in the upper left-hand “canton” next to the header. A very displayable size of 34″ x 18″, this was probably used on the rear of a Launch servicing the big Capitol Ships. The flag header is dated 1943 with a BROAD ARROW stamped together with size 18×34, and maker city of Boston / ENGLAND.
The cotton flag appears free of Moth or other damage, and has clear colors with little bleed over. It definitely could use a good ironing, as it is creased from poor folding. In great condition, still has its cords to top and bottom for attachment. Ready to display!
