Only One Set Available: A wonderful brown leather chamois-lined flying helmet with buckle chinstrap. Typical British construction of the period with all snaps and buckles present; snaps are all period correct and nicely marked MADE IN ENGLAND. The leather is soft and supple, truly amazing condition for over 100 years of age. The chamois lining is in equally excellent condition and totally complete. Helmet is approximate size 58/59cm (a nice large size)
The goggles are extraordinary. Featuring leather construction with steel round eye brackets encasing brown tint glass lenses with a classic cotton strap one portion of which is elastic and still stretchy!
However, the most interesting aspect is the heavy cardboard case with metal bonded edges still ink marked from the retailer:
