Original Item: One of a Kind. This gilt/bronze mounted Officer’s Sword bears the Royal Cypher of King George V, and it has a wire bound Ray Skin grip and 32 1/2 inch long engraved blade. Markings on the blade ricasso show the Maker to be HAWKSWORTH of SHEFFIELD and the reverse shows that it has been PROVED.
On the left side of the blade amidst the copious engraving is:-
