Original Item: One only Available. These were found in a flea market in Northern France by a picker and almost certainly saw service in the First World War of 1914-1918 on the Western Front.
These are standard heavy duty wire cutters of the type issued to the troops in the trenches. They are covered in mature rust pitting but are still totally functional. They are stamped:
BRADBURY
1916
Bradbury was a government contractor that made wire cutters and other equipment. Not easy to find today, as these do have an everyday use and many were broken, worn out or lost after the war. Ideal for the WW1 collector or re-enactor!
