Original Item: Only One Available. This is a typical good quality Percussion Musket for both “shot” and “ball”, with the lock plate signed LONDON over WARRANTED amid minimal engraving.
Fine Walnut full stock nicely checkered at grip with all Brass Mounts of British style from the early 1800’s. Barrel is 32 1/2″ and the gun measures 48 1/2 overall. The stock comes almost to the muzzle, which indicates that the weapon has been slightly shortened by approximately 2″ – 3″ during its working life. The lock functions, but fires at both half cock and full at present, so it is in need of a tumbler adjustment.
Fully cleaned, in very nice condition this makes a great decorator, already 180 years old!
