Even used with the great Battle cruisers of WW1 and WW2 era when the biggest guns were loaded with a projectile and bags of powder packed behind it.
Bearing a large decal of the post 1902 British Royal Coat of Arms with a “King’s Crown”.
Complete with substantial leather carry handle, a striking accessory for any collection. Constructed of stiff thick leather with canvas lining, leather carry handle secured by brass fittings. Top cover is now missing.
