Original Item: Only One Available. Introduced in 1843 these percussion carbines came with 26″-28″ barrels for artillery use and 21″ barrels for cavalry use which also included a fitted saddle ring.
This example has a 28″ British proofed smoothbore barrel with various maker markings underneath including W. MILLWARD and BECKWITH.
The lock bears the East India Company Rampant Lion Logo.
