Original Item: Only One Available. Produced for military prison service this is a standard snider two band short rifle with 26″ barrel which has been smooth bored to fire lead shot as opposed a solid lead slug.
Barrel and action bear full British proof and acceptance markings the lock is marked:

The gun has the correct brass butt plate, trigger guard and nose cap. It is currently fitted with a colonial issue socket bayonet complete with brass mounted leather scabbard, the blade length is just over 17″.
Included is heavy leather Enfield sling marked DRAKE & CO.
Interestingly enough the firing pin still retains it chained protector cap that cushions the face of the hammer and the firing pin, these original covers are almost always missing.
