Original Item: Only One Available. Purchased from a regular WW1 Battlefield digger, this is a very nice English Earthenware Bottle marked DAVIES & SHEPHEARD of CHESTER. Originally maybe for Beer but perhaps Soda Water or similar. Research indicates that Davies & Shepheard were Chemists in Chester, and this may have been for mineral water or some other concoction popular at the time. These also were often filled with beer and were used as promotional advertising products.
In amazing condition with showing almost no use but being buried for maybe 100 years. A really nice souvenir of WW1 Trench life. Cleaned and ready to display.
