Original Items. One Pair Only. These are all brass covered in leather on the barrels, maker marked ROSS LONDON on the eyepieces and dated 1899. There is also serial number 9755 stamped over the “ROSS” and on the inside of each sun shade. These are adjustable by a central winding wheel which extends the eye pieces. One eye piece with what could pass for a “Saber Cut” displacing a slice of the brass tubing however this does not effect the operation of the instrument.
The field glasses have integral brass sun shades, and quality optics. A quality item that perhaps could tell some stories of the Boer War or WW1. Ready to Display.
