Original Item: Only One Available. This was made in Liège in Belgium and bears the Liege Proofmark of E / L G / * in an oval on the left side of the frame. The multi-rifled barrel is 3 3/4″ in length and is made of faux Damascus steel. The pistol measures almost 9″ overall, and is marked with serial number 13071 on the frame. The wooden bag style grip is painted/stained to make it look like it is some exotic very characteristic wood but this is also faux.
Cocking the hammer causes the trigger to descend from the underside of the action therefore allowing this small weapon to be easily hidden in clothing when not in use. Ideal for Gamblers or Ladies of the night. A large bore of about .60 ” packs a great punch when delivered at really close range on the dark Streets of New York or of London in Victorian England. The Crown / V proof mark on the barrel suggests England was most likely where it was imported and prooved.
Very Nice, ready to Display!
