Original Item. Only One Available. This is a stellar Pre-WWI Austro-Hungarian officer’s tunic. The tunic has blue piping and collars, with embroidered double star collar insignia indicating officer rank. The uniform features two gold-stripes around the collar, and is missing the top of its seven buttons. The brass colored buttons feature the lion crest of Austria-Hungary. The interior is in phenomenal shape with almost no issues. The brass colored buttons on the back of the uniform are all retained, with one of the four having been replaced with a gilt example.
There is a British costumer’s tag on the interior which has a name written, but both the tag and name are very faded and difficult to read. The uniform has very little mothing overall, which is scarcely seen with these uniforms.
A very hard to find uniform jacket from an officer in the Austro-Hungarian military before the Great War! In great shape and ready for further research and display.
