Original 19th & 20th Century Lot of 5 European Bayonets with Scabbards – Various Countries Original Items

Original Item: One Set of 5 Available. We just received these out of an old collection, untouched for years. As with any collection, there were some items that stood out, and others that were purchased as “projects”, either due to condition, or because they were in want of a scabbard. All of these are original items, in varying condition, all offered without their original correct scabbards. They are offered as is, and many are still coated in the original arsenal grease.

This set consists of:

– One Original German-made M1908 Brazilian Mauser bayonet with Scabbard by WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CIE SOLINGEN. The Mauser Rifle system was exported far and wide, each with subtle differences, so they needed different bayonets. It has an 11 3/4″ blade and an overall length of 17″. Comes with Brass fit leather scabbard

– One German WWI 98K Nickel Plated Short Parade Bayonet by C. GUSTAV SPITZER SOLINGEN. It has an 9 3/4″ blade and an overall length of 14 1/2″. Standard black bakelite checkered grips with a birds head pommel & functional bayonet catch. Comes with black painted steel scabbard.

– One French WWI Nickel Plated M.1886/93/16 Cruciform Épée Parade Bayonet with Steel Scabbard. It has a 20 1/2 inch long blade, with an overall length of 25 1/4 inches.

– One Belgian M1924 Mauser Export Bayonet with Steel Scabbard. A Sword bayonet for use with M1924 and M1930 Short Rifles produced by FN for export. It has an 15″ blade and an overall length of 20 1/4″.

– One Belgian M1949 Type 2 Mauser Export Bayonet with Steel Scabbard. A Sword bayonet for use with Mauser Rifles produced by FN Post WWII for export. It has an 15″ blade and an overall length of 20 1/4″.
