Original Item: Only One Available. This is s charming concealable 18th century Persian dagger, overall length of 12 1/2″ with a 7 1/2″ blade. The single edged blade bears a stamped ARMORER’S MARK of a “Scimitar Sword” on the right side. The hilt is fit with engraved brass, and has some interesting round projections on the bottom, possibly to provide a better grip.
The bone grip panels are covered in inlaid circles and target type inlays, most attractive. Sadly the left panel, having received a blow at some point, is missing a portion, which possibly could be restored. A deadly but dainty object already over 200 years old.
