Original Item: An impressive late 19th century brass mounted bowl guard cavalry saber with a 37″ straight double-edged blade. Features of note include: maker’s markings together with regimental marking on rear portion of blade directly in front of the guard.

Wood grip with leather covering, some of which has worn away, comes complete with all steel scabbard also bearing correct period markings. Scandinavian weapons are always of the highest quality and some of the most difficult to find. Measures 45″ overall length including scabbard.
