Original Items: Limited Quantity. IMA has received a small delivery of these desirable German WW2 Mauser S84/98 III bayonet bayonets in very nice condition direct from long term storage. All are fitted with the later war issue wooden panel grips, and come complete with all steel scabbards. Ready to display or fit to your favorite k98k rifle.
Features include smooth wooden grips, 10″ single edged steel blade and an all steel scabbard. Markings vary, but all are original WWII German issue. These have all seen service, so they may have nicks in the blade, sharpening, and other wear from use.
The Mauser Karabiner 98 kurz (“carbine 98 short”) was the standard issue infantry rifle of the German Wehrmacht during WWII. It was chambered for 8mm mauser, and was one of the last members of a long line of Mauser-designed bolt-action rifles. To accompany the shorter rifle, the S84/98 III bayonet was developed, which was shorter than previous variants, and usable as a fighting knife or utility knife.
