Original Item: Limited Quantity Available. These are all wonderful examples of the late war M43 “trapezoid” Heer cap insignias. They vary in condition, but are all good to excellent examples. Some appear to be cap removed while others appear to have never been issued out.
This is a machine embroidered version, with a gray German eagle and swas emblem and national colors cockade inside a gray border, on a thin field gray rayon backing. This pattern of insignia likely appeared in 1944, and was factory applied on enlisted issue M43 caps. The reverse of these M43 Heer Trapezoid Eagle Insignias shows the typical “snowy” look from using white bobbin thread.
This would be perfect for restoring a stripped late war cap, and also displays well in its own right.
