New Made Item: This cowhide-covered rucksack was known as the Tornister 34 (developed in 1934) and was later fitted with new style straps in 1939. As the war progressed the design was simplified for economical and practical reasons so the cowhide cover was eliminated making these packs especially scarce on today’s collector market.
The new made reproduction is the finest available anywhere. Copied to almost every detail from an original in the IMA collection, it features genuine supple thick leather, fur covered outer flap, with steel and aluminum buckles, aluminum buttons and fixtures, correct canvas lining, and heavy stitching.
Measures Approximately:
Width: 12″
